Aiming for a recycling-oriented society and a sustainable environment
The environment, resources and energy are indispensable for enriching people's lives. The United Nations has announced the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), and there is an ever-increasing demand for greater interest and efforts to build a sustainable society. We are promoting initiatives for the realization of a sustainable environment, such as environmental conservation, resource recycling of waste to build a sound recycling society, and utilization of renewable energy.
Environmental Assessment / Conservation
In the development of socio-economic infrastructure such as roads, rivers, and town development, it is required to maintain the environment in proceeding with business activities, as well as to reduce environmental load after the completion of such infrastructure and sustainable use of the natural environment. Based on the results of large-scale development projects such as urban infrastructure development, waste recycling, factories, business offices, energy systems, etc., we conduct surveys, predictions, evaluations, examination of conservation measures, etc. We also provide consistent support for a wide range of technical issues related to environmental assessment and conservation.
Recycling
Material abundance creates a society of mass production, consumption, and disposal, which is accompanied by natural destruction, environmental pollution, and climate change all over the world. Under these circumstances, environmental protection has become an extremely important issue related to human survival.
Assuming contribution to the achievement of the SDGs that was agreed under promise that no one will be left behind, we will work for regional revitalization through the formation of a regional symbiotic sphere, thorough resource circulation throughout the life cycle, promotion of proper treatment and recycling, development of a disaster waste treatment system, and establishment of a foundation in the recycling field. In addition, we aim to create a world where everyone can use resources sustainably, the environmental burden is limited within the earth's environmental capacity, and people’s health and safety and a rich ecosystem are secured.
Energy
In future town development, various viewpoints such as global warming countermeasures, disaster prevention, maintenance and regional revitalization are required. Renewable energy, which takes advantage of the blessings of the natural environment of the region, is expected as a technology that can solve these issues across the board. We are doing a wide range of possibilities, from solar power generation and small hydroelectric power generation, to introduction of renewable energy equipment and implementation design. We established Yachiyo Green Energy Co., Ltd. for the development of solar power generation and maintenance. In addition, we established Ohya Underground Energy Co., Ltd. to work with Utsunomiya City to revitalize the Otani area, such as its strawberry cultivation business that utilizes cold and heat. Utilizing these know-how, we propose our own renewable energy utilization measures.
