In recent years, problems such as lack of education and health care facilities, high poverty rates, overdevelopment, and large-scale disasters have become significant, especially in developing countries. This situation requires governments to develop sustainable cities and regions as well as to respond to various public infrastructure needs.
We have been engaged in overseas projects on construction of public buildings, urban and rural development, and industrial development, such as construction of elementary and junior high schools in Myanmar and Guinea, university buildings in Indonesia, and a hospital in Haiti, regional development in Myanmar, and planning for post-earthquake recovery and rehabilitation in Indonesia. In addition to surveying, planning, designing, and supervising the construction of these projects, we support developing countries by improving legal systems and organizations, and creating PPPs and other mechanisms.

Developing countries are urbanizing at an alarming rate. The rapid increase in population and the development of economic activities have overtaken infrastructure development related to water supply and sewage, waste treatment, and recycling of garbage. The needs for improving the urban environment are still piling up. Formulation of master plans, facility design and construction supervision, equipment procurement and development of capacity for operating and maintaining environmental infrastructure are required. We provide consulting services to improve water supply, sewerage, waste treatment, and resource recycling systems, and to reduce the impact on the environment.

Electricity is the energy that supports people's modern lives, and is essential for economic and industrial development. However, there are many countries in the world where only about 10% of the population has access to electricity, and suffer from frequent power outages. We support the stabilization of power supply in developing countries, contributing to the consolidation of peace, improvement of living conditions, and revitalization of the economy. Furthermore, we will contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and the prevention of global warming by promoting renewable energy such as solar power generation. In addition, the need for construction of radio and television stations and the renewal of equipment for digitization are being demanded all over the world as technology advances. In consideration of disaster prevention and public services, we respond to a wide range of needs, including network technology integrated with communication technology and remote monitoring and control of various equipment.
