Yachiyo Engineering Strengthen Commitment to Global Impact Investing with GIIN Membership

TOKYO, June 30, 2025 - Yachiyo Engineering Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Taito-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Tsutomu Takahashi), a leading Japanese civil engineering consulting firm, is pleased to announce that it has joined the Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN) effenctive May 2025.

The GIIN convenes a powerful network dedicated to impact investing, bringing together investors, financial institutions, corporations, and non-profits who aim to address social and environmental challenges while generating financial returns. The network focuses on building industry standards and advancing best practices in impact investing.


For many years, Yachiyo Engineering has been committed to solving complex issues in infrastructure development and the environmental and social sectors. By joining the GIIN, the company will strengthen its Impact Measurement and Management (IMM) in line with global standards and further promote responsible investment and business support both in Japan and overseas.


This membership marks a significant milestone, as Yachiyo Engineering is the first Japanese operating company outside the financial sector to join the GIIN. As a leader in civil engineering consulting, the company believes its practical, on-the-ground expertise will bring a new and vital perspective to the global conversation on implementing impact investments.
